Overview:

XCOM: Chimera Squad is a turn-based tactical strategy game developed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K. It is set five years after the events of XCOM 2, in a post-alien occupation world where humans, aliens, and hybrids coexist. The game takes place in City 31, a experimental city striving for peace. Players command Chimera Squad, an elite task force composed of human and alien agents, working to maintain order in a city on the brink of chaos.

• Breach & Clear Gameplay: A new combat phase that allows players to strategically assign agents to breach points, coordinating simultaneous entry into hostile encounters. Each agent possesses unique breach skills, influencing the initial setup and turn order.

• Strategic Layer: Between tactical missions, players manage City 31's various districts, addressing unrest, allocating resources, and investigating emerging threats. This strategic layer involves managing a clock that ticks towards city-wide anarchy if not properly handled.
