Overview

Eville is a multiplayer social deduction game. Players inhabit a medieval village where a series of murders occur nightly. The objective for villagers is to identify and execute the killers before the entire village is eliminated. Killers, conversely, must covertly eliminate villagers without being discovered. The game supports 4-15 players per match.

Gameplay Mechanics

Players are assigned one of several roles at the start of each game. Roles are divided into two primary factions: Villagers and Conspirators.

Villager Roles (Examples)

Detective: Can investigate players each night for clues.
Bodyguard: Can protect a player from being killed each night.
Axe Man: Gains an additional vote during the day.
Trapper: Can set traps to catch intruders.

Conspirator Roles (Examples)

Killer: Can choose a target to kill each night.
Smuggler: Can provide the Killer with additional kills or evade detection.
Thief: Can steal items or interfere with villager abilities.

Each game progresses through day and night cycles.

Night Phase: Players with night abilities can use them. Conspirators commit murders.
Day Phase: Discussion and accusation phase. Players present evidence and vote to execute a suspect. Executed players are removed from the game.
